To practice pronunciation, the class will be divided into groups of four students each. Each student will give some indications similar to those in the recording and the other learners will have to say the place where they have arrived. (20-25 minutes).
If the activity goes by smoothly and there is some extra time, some students may volunteer to give directions to the rest of the class (emphasizing in the correct pronunciation and intonation) so that they can try and guess the target destination (5-10 minutes, if time allows).
Hello Rocio:
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great idea to give students a map to practice directions.
This way they will always know what to say and will not be blocked.

Hello Rocío!!
ReplyDeleteI love the activity you have done to practice speaking. With this activity they can work as the addresses as the names of the buildings that are sometimes difficult for children to learn. Thanks for your ideas.
